Fun with bowling, an organic barbecue, music and dance
The 2018 PLATH GmbH Christmas party took off splendidly with some bowling in the U.S. Fun Bowling centre at Hamburger Straße. With the largest number of participants we have ever had at a PLATH Christmas party, the colourfully mixed bowling groups occupied virtually all the bowling facility, with the exception of just a few alleys. And they all had great fun.
Then we took the U3 – past the Landungsbrücken with views of the Port of Hamburg – to Feldstraße, where it was just a few steps away to the “Grünen Jäger” tavern. On arrival, each participant was welcomed in person by two members of the Christmas party committee and given a gingerbread heart.
The PLATHers early evening, with Alsatian tarte flambée and mulled wine, was sweetened with the wonderful sounds of the “Applaus for die Perle” a capella trio. Then the winners in the “booby-prize”, “best striker” and “highest scorer” categories received the recognition they deserved.
The organic barbecue buffet was opened after the award ceremony. Although you couldn’t tell this from the name, even vegetarians and vegans got their money’s worth here.
With musical support, it was onto the dance floor after eating – first in the upper part of the building, then in the lower part, right in front of the DJ. The dancing, laughing and celebration continued until 3 o’clock in the morning. Next to the dance floor, by the way, the ever-popular photo box was also there this year.
The Christmas party committee extends their thanks to all the participants and is already looking forward to the coming events in this year.< Back
