Millions of steps for a good cause

The PLATHfüße Challenge 2019

21 teams with a total of 208 participants had registered for this year's PLATHfüße Challenge. The participants had a lot of fun in the virtual-fictional retro world to overcome obstacles and reach their milestones.

A total of 48,856,293 steps were collected within three weeks this year. The winning team Flashback collected 3,378,764 steps alone. Hats off and congratulations!

The end of the challenge was celebrated again this year at a closing event - including award ceremony and handing over of a donation check. The Flashback team took the PLATH Group's check in favour of the research institute of the Children's Cancer Center in Hamburg. The research institute has set itself the task of looking for new ways in diagnostics and therapy in order to be able to treat cancer in children faster and more specifically. The institute is largely financed by donations, which is why the Flashback team and the PLATH Group are happy about their contribution.

In 2019, the PLATHfüße Challenge was again an all-round successful event. The employees are already looking forward to the challenge next year. Until then, always keep moving!
