Generally, there is a separate Product Management team for both software and hardware. We develop the product strategy for our products and manage the product roadmap. We also take on the requirements of our customers and develop a solution design for them.
Our teams generally support the preparation of quotations and work together with Marketing and Product Marketing with regard to content. We are also responsible for pricing decisions and licensing models in the software area. The Sales department needs our support, for example, in the form of customer presentations, the provision of simulators, demonstrations or during user conferences.
Last, but not least, we maintain the interfaces – those of the software and/or hardware and those within the PLATH Group by coordination with the Project Management of the subsidiaries.
There are colleagues in Product Management who enjoy working strategically and in a variety of ways. In its interface function, the team is in charge of pulling together the Development, Sales and Product Marketing departments.
