Senior agile QA-Tester (m/f)

As QA Tester you participate in the implementation of a product platform  for the automated collection, analysis and visualisation of radio signals (mass data). Within your agile development team, you will be the expert for quality assurance:

  • A key player in  the whole team approach to the high quality of sprint results,

  • based on your testing and domain knowledge, you help to write good user stories and testable acceptance criteria,

  • as testing expert you recommend fitting  test strategies for application changes, provide suitable test ideas and support work on testability,

  • while you are manually executing tests early, context driven, exploratory and following your test ideas, you know when good is good enough and present results quickly and customer-oriented,

  • your automation of acceptance tests applies the principles of the test pyramid and risk management,

  • together with the testers of the other teams, you work on the continuous improvement of agile testing processes.

Desirable Requirements

You graduated with a degree in information technology or a comparable field and bring, besides your independent and team-oriented way of working, the following experiences and knowledge:

  • Test case design

  • Test management, bug tracking and testing tools

  • Agile methodologies like SCRUM or Kanban

  • You are familiar with concepts like vertical slicing, doing the right things right and especially with shift left

  • Script based automation of acceptance tests, for example by Java, Ruby or Python

  • Ideally, CAT or ISTQB (CTFL) certification

  • Basic knowledge of German (B1) and the strong ambition to expand the basic skills on a short term basis, in order to successfully participate in team meetings and social interaction in German
