PLATH - Making the world a safer place

At the PLATH Group, we focus on a collegial atmosphere. We are convinced that this is a decisive factor for the satisfaction of our colleagues. Working times

  • Trust-based working hours with flexitime model

  • Core working hours: Mon.-Thurs. 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., Fri. 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.; Framework working hours: 6 a.m. - 8 p.m.

  • Only applies to PLATH AG: Simplified working time recording, flexible working time (annualised working time)

    Different phases of life require customised working time models - whether during parental leave or for other private reasons. You can organise your working hours flexibly, taking into account your everyday working life. Sabbatical? That's also possible! Of course, we also make mobile working possible. PLATH offers 30 days' holiday per calendar year. Or you can sell or buy holiday days.

Central location

  • Central location in Hamburg's City South with perfect connections.
  • PLATH's central location in Hamburg's City South guarantees perfect bus and train connections. The Hammerbrook and Berliner Tor stops are just a few minutes' walk away. Commuters by car can use the free car parks in the area or rent a fixed parking space nearby at a fair price.
  • Other members of the PLATH Group may not be quite as central, but offer free parking directly at the company.

Hybrid work

We provide the appropriate technology for working from home or on the move.  You can also develop your career while working from home. The working hours are flexible and your work and private life are in balance. We also offer hybrid working. And of course this also applies to PLATH AG and other companies in the Group.

Vacation

We offer 30 days' holiday and flexible working time models as well as the purchase and sale of holiday days

At PLATH AG:

  • Paid days off between Christmas and New Year
  • 30 days holiday from the age of 36
  •  Four weeks paternity leave/18 weeks maternity leave

PLATH offers 30 days holiday per calendar year. Would you like to take a sabbatical? We have suitable models here too.  If required and after an internal review, holiday can be exchanged for more salary or, conversely, purchased in return for payment.

  • Allowances for childcare costs

    Applies only to PLATH AG: extra-mandatory child allowances - and for the accommodation and care of non-school-age children in kindergartens or comparable facilities, there is a kindergarten allowance that is exempt from tax and social security contributions.

    PLATH has two aces up its sleeve so that our colleagues can optimise their journey to work in their own individual way: Bus and train drivers can subscribe to an HVV-ProfiTicket, while car drivers can support their journeys with petrol vouchers. Both options are subsidised by PLATH on a monthly basis.

Regular in-house massage appointments loosen up our necks and backs in no time at all. PLATH supports this relaxation with a financial contribution. Height-adjustable desks and ergonomic chairs provide additional comfort.

Our colleagues are regularly invited to preventive medical check-ups by our company medical practice, which has branches in three districts of Hamburg. If, for example, an eye examination reveals that you need special VDU glasses, we will cover the costs for you.

If you are unable to make it to the pharmacy, take advantage of the free delivery service including a regular customer discount at a pharmacy close to Gotenstrasse in Hamburg. This pharmacy offers the special service of delivering medication to your workplace within 4 hours.

Corporate benefits

On our corporate benefits platform, well-known providers make their products and services available at special conditions. The advantage for our colleagues is that they receive significant discounts on high-quality products and services.     With PLATH AG:

    We offer you the opportunity to lease a bike in conjunction with JobRad and a participating bike shop. PLATH pays the insurance premium and a subsidy of €20. Alternatively, every colleague has the opportunity to take advantage of our company fitness programme via Urban Sports Club (either the M or L package), which is subsidised by PLATH to the tune of €20 per month. We offer you many different ways to harmonise your work and private life. Structured onboarding incl. mentoring programme

Your onboarding (whether remote or on-site) is a high priority for us, as a well thought-out and professional induction will help you to quickly find your feet both professionally and within the company. You will receive a START@PLATH package (Welcome Package) from us, consisting of the most important information and documents for your start as well as your personalised induction plan, which also serves as a checklist. During the entire induction period, you will also be accompanied by a mentor who will be on hand to provide you with advice and support.  

You will take part in the first CAMPUS@PLATH training sessions to familiarise yourself with the basic topics of our industry and technology and get to know colleagues in your future interface areas.
