Students
Students regularly find opportunities to gain their first practical experience as a working student or mandatory intern - whether in Marketing, Product Management, Software Development or Quality Assurance. You support your colleagues in day-to-day business or work in a team on ongoing projects. Depending on your area of expertise and experience, you will also take on independent (sub)projects. No matter how you support us - your commitment is valuable not only for us as a company, but also for your personality, expertise, and future career.
In addition to the possibility of an internship or working student activity, you can also design your final thesis with us in a particularly practical way. We define a topic jointly which you can use to further develop your specialist knowledge and project management skills, and which will also provide us with new insights. You will be supervised by an experienced contact person who will support you as a mentor.
School Pupils
The Germany-wide Future Day gives girls and boys the opportunity to get to know training occupations and courses of study in which their own gender has rarely been represented to date. With the support of experienced colleagues, PLATH regularly organises an exciting programme to introduce committed school students to the world of communication intelligence and to provide interesting insights into the subject of electrical engineering and software development.
Supported by experienced colleagues and trainers, we offer challenging and future-oriented training courses with the objective of subsequent acceptance into permanent employment. PLATH is currently training in the fields of IT for application development and IT for systems integration. Every two years an apprentice starts his professional career in our company. The first apprenticeship year of the new trainees overlaps with the third apprenticeship year of the already advanced trainees. Based on their experience, the trainees in their third year of apprenticeship sponsor the new arrivals and support them at all times with words and deeds.
The theoretical block instruction takes place during the entire training period at the vocational school ITECH Elbinsel Wilhelmsburg not far from the location in Hamburg-Hammerbrook. It is possible to select either the standard or the bilingual vocational school branch.
Not only the internal exchange between the trainees, but also the PLATH group-wide networking are very important to us. As part of their training, our trainees visit one of the companies belonging to the PLATH Group in order to further their training on site and to intensify the exchange with the trainees of the subsidiary.
